Hourly Care

Practical and Social Support includes:

Domestic cleaning but only as part of a Care Plan which includes personal care
Preparation of light meals
Seeking basic information and assisting with form-filling
Ensuring that the user is warm and secure

Domestic tasks include:

Dusting, vacuum cleaning, washing floors, washing crockery and cutlery
Polishing large items of furniture, cleaning baths, sinks, work surfaces
Toilets and ovens, removing cobwebs from ceilings and walls
Laundering sheets, towels, personal clothing
Ironing, shopping, pension and prescription collection
Changing bed linen, emptying commode, pet care (not harmful ones- discretionary)
